Aputure Infinibar Series Accessories

Aputure launched its Infinibar range of RGBWW linear LED lights last March, and it seems to have been received rather well. Now, the company is expanding the range of accessories available for them. The Aputure Infinibar PB6 and PB12 lights are now also coming in a lighter-weight 4-light kit.

The Infinibar lights have previously been available in 2-light and 8-light kits. Four lights provides a nice compromise in the middle for those who don’t need eight lights but don’t want to split four of them between two cases.

Aputure Infinibar Battery Power Station

The first of the new accessories is the Infinibar Battery Power Station ($135). It’s a 24v V-Mount battery solution that adds support for 14v, 26v and 28.8v V-Mount batteries for up to 200W of power.

Power is supplied from the power station to the individual lights by DC power cables, which Aputure says can be easily managed. You are able to mount the power station to a light stand or C stand if you need to keep it off the ground.

Aputure Infinibar Passive Connectors

Aputure has released a new range of passive connectors ($26-55), allowing you to set up lights in a multitude of different configurations. These are passive connectors, meaning that no power is transferred through them. They’re simply to hold your lights in a physical configuration.

There are already a number of connectors available for Infinibar, but those are active connectors. You can read more about the differences between the passive and active connectors on the Aputure website.

Aputure Infinibar Tripod

The Infinibar range also sees a new low-profile tripod ($29). It folds up small but opens out with a nice wide footprint to help ensure stability. This makes it easier to mount lights vertically without complicated rigs and cables.

Aputure Infinibar Tilting Mount

There’s a new Aputure Infinibar Tilting Mount ($40) that looks potentially quite interesting for certain needs. It’s a bracket that, as the name suggests, allows you to attach a light to a wall or other surface with a tilt adjustment.

Aputure Infinibar PB6 & PB12 4-packs

The Aputure Infinibar PB6 and PB12 measure 2ft and 4ft, respectively. They’ve been available individually, as a 2-light kit or an 8-light kit for a while now. But eight lights is a little much for many setups. And buying two 2-light kits means two separate cases.

The kits come with either four PB6 or PB12 LED lights packed in a protective case. Aputure says the case has been designed to hold both the lights and a number of accessories. The kit also includes a 330W power adapter and power splitters to feed them all.

Price and Availability

The Aputure Infinibar PB6 and PB12 4-light kits are available to pre-order now for $2,590 and $2,790, respectively. They’re scheduled to launch in mid-June. If they’re a little above your budget, be sure to check out the Amaran Pixel Tubes.

The Infinibar Battery Power Station is available to pre-order now for $135. The Infinibar Mini Tripod is available to pre-order now for $29. The Infinibar Tilting Mount is also available to pre-order now for $40.00. The Aputure Infinibar Passive Connectors are available in four different configurations. The straight connector is $26, and the three-way, four-way and six-way connectors are $55 each. Accessories are expected to begin shipping in the coming weeks.
