There’s only a month left to enter the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, and let’s just say, the competition is heating up faster than a cheetah chasing lunch. It’s time to get some giggles and have your shutter finger twitching, so the folks at Comedy Wildlife have unveiled some of the top entries so far this year.
Imagine a three-headed giraffe trying to decide which direction to munch on leaves. Or two polar bears in a marital fight. Or my favorite, showing the joys of motherhood (see below). :) These are only some of this year’s best entries, and there are more to come.

Now in its 10th year, the Comedy Wildlife Awards isn’t just about giggles (though there will be plenty of those). It’s about celebrating the lighter side of wildlife photography while raising awareness about conservation efforts.
Of course, you can also be a part of the fun. Head outdoors, and see if you can capture a wildlife moment that’ll have you laugh. The grand prize is a once-in-a-lifetime safari in Kenya, with some pretty awesome runner-up prizes too (think new cameras and editing software). To celebrate a decade of laughter and wildlife wonder, there’ll be a special exhibition in London showcasing all the finalist photos.
